Our Mission

IBCC is a non-denominational counseling center located in Fishers, Indiana. We serve offering a place of love, grace and mercy for those that are suffering and need of help.

Our calling is to serve and assist the Body of Christ by providing discipleship counseling. Our counseling is patterned after the ministry of Jesus Christ who healed the brokenhearted and set the captives free (Isaiah 61).

Our ministry outreach is primarily within Indiana and other neighboring states. The focus of the Indiana Biblical Counseling Center is to bring individuals to freedom in Christ. This can be accomplished by providing Biblical discipleship counseling, materials, resources, seminars, training, and in support of resolving spiritual conflicts for individuals and families.

With God’s blessing the Indiana Biblical Counseling Center will continue to be a place of assistance, healing, and reconciliation for suffering individuals and families.

Our History

The discipleship counseling ministry of Indiana Biblical Counseling Center began forming in 1996. We are grateful for the vision of Dr. Roy Blackwood, a local Pastor, who saw the need for a Biblical counseling center that the local church could trust. He gathered together a group of Christian leaders to begin the planning for the counseling center. Indiana Biblical Counseling Center is incorporated within the state of Indiana and exists as a 501c3 non-profit ministry that is governed by a board of directors. Rev. Jeffrey Pokone joined the ministry as a counselor in the Fall of 1998 and has served as Center Director since the Fall of 2003. We are thankful that we have had the opportunity to help hundreds of people over these years.
